Just landed in Sydney, no problems in China and had a blast. Will post some pics asap when we can get checked in to our room.

Made it just fine to frankfurt airport, and are through security. we take the redeye to beijing tonight and land tomorrow morning. we will be offline for a couple of days, cause there is no way i will connect to the chineese internet in any form. xoxo

Sorry for lack of posts.. Shawn and I are both fighting head colds, so we’ve been resting up. Had some AMAZING chocolate yesterday, this is the home of Godiva after all. Also went to a Lambic brewery yesterday as well. Then it was back to bed the rest of the day.

We’re both feeling better today though, so I’ll try to post some pics later.

Technically we’re in the suburb of St. Albans an old historic town. James and Maria made sure to keep us awake all day yesterday to cure us of our jet-lag. We went and had lunch at the oldest pub in Britain, over 234 years old, called Ye Old Fighting Cocks.  A tasty lunch of bangers and mash with traditional pint of Ale. Continue reading →

Yippee we won the airline lottery! We’re so fortunate to have flights to Boston on American Airlines.  Yep, the same one with labor disputes (where most of their flights are getting canceled or delayed), and loose seats.  Our original flight through DFW was canceled, and we were re-booked on a later flight through LAX (ugh).
