Technically we’re in the suburb of St. Albans an old historic town. James and Maria made sure to keep us awake all day yesterday to cure us of our jet-lag. We went and had lunch at the oldest pub in Britain, over 234 years old, called Ye Old Fighting Cocks.  A tasty lunch of bangers and mash with traditional pint of Ale.

Oldest pub in Britain. 24 hours earlier, we’d been at the oldest USA pub in Boston.

Then we went and visited St. Albans Cathedral, where the first part was built in 1077 and has been added on to through out the years.  Too amazing for pictures to even do it justice.

Finished our day walking through the historic town with cobblestone streets, a nice dinner, and wonderful sleep!
