Ahhhh, I love going to Asia with the good food, interesting sites, and funny things to see. Here’s a compilation of some of the oddities we saw, including the Engrish signs. (Engrish = a funny mis-translation, so check out one of my favorite sites linked above.

I’ve had “Hotdog on a Stick”, and “Fruit on a Stick”, and plenty of other foods on a stick. This is from a street vendor, and I call this “HELL NO on a Stick”. It’s cooked centipedes, and they’re about a foot long. YUCK

All of our friends with kids are getting one for Xmas… don’t worry, this looks totally safe for babies. NOT. 😉

Careful when you order the mystery daily special. Turned out to be 50% Schezwan peppers. HOT… Those are all peppers on shawn’s plate!




Ok you could have eliminated pics AND VIDEO of creatures on a stick.. OMG I had to turn video off UGH UGH UGH..
If I am reading this correctly the tram ride will also INDUCE pregnancy!!! This make moms home cooking look like a five star restraunt.

Dang, can’t find any fried centipede on a stick here in australia, just kangaroo burgers. Yummy.
Can’t believe no one has commented on the baby pool, where the baby is floating by it’s neck, just the bugs got comments. 🙂
