Yippee we won the airline lottery! We’re so fortunate to have flights to Boston on American Airlines.  Yep, the same one with labor disputes (where most of their flights are getting canceled or delayed), and loose seats.  Our original flight through DFW was canceled, and we were re-booked on a later flight through LAX (ugh).

Tomorrow we take a red-eye to LAX, but can’t currently get confirmed seats on the oversold flight to Boston.  Yippee! I called AA reservations again tonight, and no help.

We’ve now changed our packing strategy to carry on only.  It’ll be interesting, and we’ll have more laundry stops, but eh.. better than luggage ending up in Timbuktu.  Besides, it’s a great excuse to drag Shawn to all the malls for some shopping. 🙂  The other good news is this is the only leg of our trip that is on AA.
