Train Spotting

Last day in Hanoi, next stop is Ha Long to see the famous Ha Long Bay.

Hanoi’s famous “Train Street” lived up to its name and did not disappoint. It was pretty fucking wild.

Getting settled at one of the cafes along the tracks

Cafe setup when the trains aren’t driving through

Choo Choo, the train comes ripping by fast, you’ll want to turn your volume down.

The Cafe owners fold all the tables and set them on the ground before the train comes through

Next stopped by one of the many temples in the area.

Temple of the White Horse

Dinner menu had backlighting, which Shawn’s old eyes appreciated 😂

Great view from a rooftop restaurant

I am 100% sure this was catfood. 🤢🤮

People watching with good cocktails to end the evening

  1. I’ve seen those train places on TV, that’s crazy. Temples are beautiful, skyline is beautiful.

    • Yes, it did. 😔 And no shame that I know. I am pretty sure everyone with a cat or dog has taken a taste test of canned food at some point l.
